It is a statutory authority of, and principally funded by, the New South Wales State Government. Trippas White Group – Catering partner

One of Australia’s leading restaurant and catering companies managing a diverse portfolio of iconic restaurant and event spaces across Australia, including Sydney Tower, Art Gallery of NSW, Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain, The Mint, Centennial Parklands, and Australian Institute of Sport. The Trippas White Group food philosophy centres on simple, well presented and flavoursome food that reflects the high quality of Australian seasonal and sustainable produce. Murdoch Books began life as subsidiary of Murdoch Magazines, which was purchased from News Limited in 1991. It grew to become one of Australia’s leading illustrated book publishers with an outstanding international reputation, and now as part of Allen & Unwin, continues to publish beautiful illustrated books. Single Origin Roasters – Coffee partner

A Sydney-based roaster established in 2003. The company roasts and supplies their beans to coffee-loving cafes and restaurants around town. Single O, as their customers like to call them, also has a cafe and brew bar in Surry Hills that some lovely folk have gone so far as to call legendary. The cafe offers painstakingly well made coffee, freshly roasted bags to take home, delicious breakfast and lunch from a seasonal menu, plus a good dose of friendly service. The neighbouring brew bar, Sideshow, serves takeaway coffee and a plethora of brewing methods including siphon, cold drip, aeropress, and pour over. Each month, four new origin coffees from around the world are on offer, roasted for espresso or filter. Single Origin Roaster is forever sourcing, sampling, cupping, roasting, measuring, calibrating, tweaking, blending and tasting cofee. For all their joking-around, they take their coffee damn seriously.



Ovvio Organic – Tea partner

Anthia Koullouros is a Sydney naturopath, herbalist, homoeopath and organic health food and lifestyle educator. She is the owner of Ovvio, the organic health and lifestyle store in Paddington; a dispensary, teahouse, shop and clinic. Anthia’s one-on-one naturopathic consults offer a no-nonsense, fad-free, honest and informative approach to achieving health and happiness. As an extension of her philosophy, Ovvio teas have been lovingly created by hand from the finest bark, flowers, fruits, seeds, leaves and twigs, blended with love and respect for humankinds, flora and fauna. Every sip offers a pure remedy and delicious repose.



ClothFabric – Beautification of space partner 

The work of talented painter, printmaker and designer of textiles Julie Paterson is on show in the nooks and crannies of The Mint for Food & Words. Her company, ClothFabric, prints fabric in short batches, by hand. Sold on the roll and bolt, the fabric is also made into bed linen, curtains, cushions and lampshades. Her inspiration is the Australian landscape. Her ethos is to work locally, responsibly and collaboratively. Julie also makes art, rugs and pottery.



Lowe Wines – Wine partner 

A small winery in Mudgee, NSW that specialises in small batch winemaking using innovative techniques. Lowe’s vineyards, which are untrellised, unirrigated and certified organic, produce lower yields of distinctively individual grapes, including zinfandel. The principal, David Lowe, a graduate of Roseworthy College, worked at Rothbury Estate under Len Evans and as a flying winemaker in Bordeaux, France. He is the current President of the NSW Wine Industry Association and Vice President of the Winemakers’ Federation Australia.
